Custom Properties and Joom!Fish for Joomla! 1.5

If you follow the next procedure, you will (probably) obtain a fully functional installation of Joomla 1.5 + Joom!Fish 2 beta 2 + Custom Properties for J! 1.5. This setup is perfect for a multi-language site with enhanced search and categorization.

• install Joomla 1.5.9

• enable SEF - if you want

if you want a multi language site {

• install the second language file for Joomla
• install Joomfish 2 beta2 (component, router plugin, abstraction layer plugin, language selection module, assorted search plugins)
• enable joomfish plugins
• edit and SAVE jfrouter plugin  !important!
• enable the language in joomfish
• enable the jflanguageselection module

• install Custom Properties component and module
• review and save Custom Properties configuration
• create at least 1 field with at least 1 value
• assign tags at will
• enable the module mod_cpsearch

• translate tags at will - if you have Joom Fish

If you install Custom Properties after JoomFish, you can use "Custom Properties/utilities/install JoomFish contentelements" .
